Breastfeeding at Work

It is illegal for an employer to discriminate against you because you are breastfeeding.

In fact, in Tennessee, it is the law that an employer must (1) give an employee a reasonable, unpaid break time for expressing breast milk, and (2) provide a room or other private area for an employee to express breast milk. An employer cannot tell you to use a bathroom stall!
